Bedwetting Store: Pissed Consumer Reviews

Malem and the Bedwetting Store will not stop in deceiving customers and parents. They continue to expand their deceit beyond normal boundaries and every day take it to higher levels. But it appears that consumers are finally taking heed of this blog and are starting to address the constant lies and deceit of the Bedwetting Store. A large number of customers have started writing complaints on the website Pissedconsumer against the Bedwetting Store. We believe that this is an increasing list and we are placing content from it on this blog with permission.
There is a complete page on the deceit and trickery of the Bedwetting Store at http://bedwetting-store.pissedconsumer.com/

Bedwetting Store - Bad Product and Dishonest Business

  • Jan 20, 2013I am very happy with the DryBuddy wireless bedwetting alarm that I purchased about three months ago. It worked very well and my son was dry within two months with minimum fuss. He found it very easy to use the sensor and set the alarm, and I found the remote really made using DryBuddy convenient. Your order delivery was prompt. and you customer service very responsive. Overall, and excellent... Read more

FYI. The Bedwetting store is apparently having problems selling its Dry-Me and is GIVING some away to the public to try and get business. They are also GIVING it to some private reviewers, asking that they be positively "reviewed" and that such positive reviews be posted on their private websites. At least one such reviewer honestly disclosed that the bedwettingstore.com gave her the Dry-Me for posting on her site. I wonder how many other "reviewers" are being bought to post nice things on their site about a junk product.

Why don't you (bedwettingstore.com) go one step further and PAY the public to take this Dry-Me off your hands. It would still qualify as a sale, and you could claim to have sold 200,000! By-the-way, one competitor has been stuck at 100,000+ for a year or longer. You could be ahead!

Shame on the Bedwetting Store for this continued deceit. We will post another blog next where we will expose the parent company of the Bedwetting Store – Just Home Medical.

To truly compare Malem with all relevant competitors in today’s marketplace, look at http://www.urinealarms.com/Wired_Alarm_Chart.html . This is the most comprehensive set of data and facts about bedwetting alarms that we have seen. Malem does not fare well. This explains why Malem and the Bedwetting Store resort to deceit and propaganda to promote the Malem bedwetting alarm!

The Bedwetting Store is the only seller who advertises and continues to sell the Malem Bedwetting Alarm. All other sellers have either realized the truth about the Malem Bedwetting Alarm or have abandoned it, but the Bedwetting Store continues its deceit.

Note:
Malem(TM) and the Bedwetting Store have a very large number of entries about their deceit in this blog. There are so many more entries and much more serious bad activities attributable to Malem and the Bedwetting Store, so that Malem and the Bedwetting Store have significantly more entries than all other manufacturers combined. You can read all of the Malem and Bedwetting Store deceit entries on this blog.

Bedwetting Store: Very Strong Deceit – False Blogs to Promote the Malem Alarm

A reader stumbled upon a blog and forwarded it to us. The blog is at http://spiceandallthatsnice.blogspot.com/2010/12/malem-bedwetting-alarm-review.html
We took a screenshot of the blog and are pasting it here for reference incase the Bedwetting Store decides to take it down.
The complete blog is a shameless advertisement of the Malem alarm. The blog writer has promoted the Malem alarm clearly for compensation but does not even acknowledge the same.

Malem Bedwetting Alarm Review

https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgVBfN00XPlTOteUbU_k6wTKkZ1XVEuPLJuK_vUuiSapnlGywHvO4IWFhuy6Wb75O-0Gw33MCRvjshNJvj8NC6rrJryCNhzCK85Ox0g9vG3Ydu1kgGihJZyBgRrLmMR4kra2GTha2PT2g0/s200/51QlWTPZyoL__SL500_AA300_.jpg
I was beginning to think Bubs was never going to be night time potty trained. He is approaching the age of sleepovers and I didn't want him to have to wear a night time pull up while he was over at friends. More importantly, he didn't want to have to wear pull ups either. The problem is he is a deep sleeper. He has even slept through our house alarm going off. We would wake him up several hours after he had fallen asleep and sometimes he would already be wet and other times he would stumble to the bathroom and stand in front of the toilet and sleep. I would have to splash water in his face to get him alert enough to pay attention to what he was doing.I finally broke down and spent the $120 and purchased a Malem bed wetting alarm. I read the reviews of it at the Bedwetting Store  and figured it was worth a try.

There are a couple of different models. Some just have a single alarm sound, some have variable alarm sounds, and others have vibration with alarms.  I opted to buy the one that vibrated as well as had variable alarms, the Malem Ultimate. The benefit of this alarm is he can feel the vibration as well as hear the alarm. The variable sounds means every time the alarm goes off there is a different sound to it making it so he doesn't learn to tune the alarm out.

The first night he slept through the alarm 3 times. Each time I would hear it from my bedroom and go to his room and wake him up. The next night the alarm went off once and he slept through it. Night three when the alarm went off he stopped mid stream and made it to the bathroom for the rest. For about 2 weeks he was dry every other night and stopping mid stream when he heard the alarm on the other nights. After 3 weeks he remained dry every night. He would either wake up and go or be able to hold it all night. We had pretty fast results with it which I was quite pleased with. I believe the general guidelines Malem has set up is allow 12 weeks. We are now on week 9 or so and he has remained dry every night since the end of week 3.

If you have been wondering about purchasing a bedwetting alarm or wondering what to do for your child who is still wetting at night, I highly recommend this alarm. Prices vary depending on the models but you can expect to pay between $80-$130. I ended up getting mine at Amazon because I got the free shipping with it.

Now, if I could just get my two year old day potty trained. I wonder if I could use the alarm on that...?

Notice how the reviewer constantly uses statements like “I read the reviews of it at the Bedwetting Store  and figured it was worth a try.” With a direct link to the Bedwetting Store.
The benefit of this alarm is he can feel the vibration as well as hear the alarm. The variable sounds means every time the alarm goes off there is a different sound to it making it so he doesn't learn to tune the alarm out.” Shameless advertisement by shills of the Bedwetting Store.
We contacted the writer of this blog but have received no reply. We have also posted comments informing readers that these and many other blogs about the Malem alarm are fraud. The comments have been deleted. This reinforces that the Bedwetting Store will go to any lengths to promote the Malem alarm. Buyer beware!

Bedwetting Store: Very Strong Deceit – Fraud on Amazon – Listing Malem Alarm in Incorrect Category to Save Money

All of the Bedwetting alarms listed on Amazon are under the Health and Personal Care category. This is the correct category that the product should be listed under. The only manufacturer who goes a step further is DryBuddy who accurately lists the DryBuddyEZ alarm under the category “Bladder Control Devices” which is a sub section of Incontinence & Ostomy under Health Care subcategory.

The importance of correct category selection is important for two reasons. It helps consumers pick the right product when they search on Amazon.com and sellers pay the right fees to Amazon. It is a serious violation of Amazon’s policy to list products in an incorrect category as it is a manipulation of the system. But we expected this from the Bedwetting Store.

Since the new DryBuddyEZ alarm has entered the market, the Bedwetting Store has moved all Malem alarms from the Health and Personal Care to the Home Improvement Category under Household Sensors & Alarms. This can easily be verified for the 2 Malem alarms.

The table below is the commission rate Amazon charges sellers. For brevity, we have kept the table compact and limited to the two above referenced categories.
Product Type
Amazon deducts the greater of the applicable referral fee percentage or applicable per-item minimum referral fee. See notes above.
Referral Fee Percentages
Applicable Minimum Referral Fee
(applied on a per-item basis unless otherwise noted)
Health & Personal Care (including Personal Care Appliances)
15%
$1.00
Tools & Home Improvement
12%
$1.00

So now we see that the Bedwetting Store saves about $3 per Malem alarm that they sell on Amazon. Not only is the Bedwetting Store and Malem cheating parents and consumers, they have gone a step further and started cheating Amazon as well. It does not surprise us as we have come to expect the impossible from the Bedwetting Store when it comes to deceit and fraud. The only logical explanation is that a new alarm about a third the price of the Malem alarm is thrashing Malem.

We contacted Amazon about this violation and requested that the Bedwetting Store be taken off the website or penalized. We will update this blog when we hear back from Amazon or have an update for our readers.

Malem: Very Strong Deceit on Internet Review Sites and Blogs

Malem and the Bedwetting Store continue to be unethical and cheat customers. This blog will provide details for many more blog entries relating to Malem and Bedwetting Stores deceit and other malicious practices, all of which have been recorded.

First, it is appropriate to reveal that the Product B mentioned and analyzed in

and also below in corresponding blogs, is the Malem bedwetting alarm product.

Starting with the reviews of Malem on Amazon, it is our opinion that 31% of the total reviews for Malem may have been biased by the Bedwetting Store. In other words, they may be fake reviews placed there by Chummie and/or its associates. Of these, about 88% were very positive reviews, which would be perfectly understandable if they were biased by the Bedwetting Store. We also noticed that many negative opinions that we saw in 2012 and later had been removed. This would also certainly look good for Malem and the Bedwetting Store, and we cannot imagine it happening without the Bedwetting Stores instigation.

Relating to product blogs, we did a fresh Google search for Malem and Bedwetting Store blogs, and looked at the results to identify what we would regard as advertisements for Malem on various sites that were displayed. We found 87 of the 134 total sites on the three pages to be blatant advertisements for Malem and the Bedwetting Store. Almost all appeared to be sites run by individuals or small groups, who were trying to make a buck. We did include in the total any sites “owned” by the Bedwetting Store which include National Incontinence, Just Home Medical and Just Bedwetting Alarms, and also any sites that were critical of Malem and the Bedwetting Store on these pages which were not included in the "blogs for Malem and the Bedwetting Store." So to have almost 62% approval from small blogs/sites is a great display of buying positive endorsements.

These confirm our opinion that Malem and the Bedwetting Store deal in false advertising, cheating customers and have no credibility. It also reinforces our opinion that these "reviews" and product "opinions" should be ignored.

Expect more about Malem and the Bedwetting Stores abuse of the internet and continuing deceit.
Shame on Malem and the Bedwetting Store for these cheap tactics and tricky deceptive advertising schemes. As a leader in bedwetting, the example they have set for others is shallow and a disgrace.
